Ljubljana MTB Vikend schedule switched and split due to rain. No worries, it will not be wet on weekend, the Golovec trails are mud safe, we’ll just leave out Saturday’s Bike park Ljubljana part.
After the four points races this year we have two more in the autumn. But before that, it’s time for an even more relaxed, social stop on the calendar: the seventh Enduro Golovec trails.
Last year, the organisers from the Golovec trails club, in cooperation with the Rajd and joint in the Ljubljana MTB vikend festival, extended it to two days. On the first day, two special stages were held in the Bike Park Ljubljana at the other end of the city, and on Sunday three more on Golovec trails.
This year, the organisation responded to the weather prospects, cancelled the Saturday programme in Bike Park Ljubljana and postponed most of the events to two weeks later, on Saturday 28 September. The Golovec trails Enduro will run smoothly on Sunday “at home” in Golovec.
Additonally to the original plan, they have added one more special stage at Golovec, so there will now be four (one more for the e-MTB category and a shortened course for under 15 riders). The exact course will be posted tomorrow, Friday!
The timetable has also been changed, with number pick-up opening at 7am, training starting at 7.30am and the first rider starting from the Urban Ring Hotel at 11am.

Registration
The list of registered riders is interesting and colourful, but not a very long one yet. It might be that the riders are scared of mud and saggy bottoms. But have no fear! If there is a place that will be mud-free on Sunday it will be the Golovec trails where there trails are well packed down and water is managed well. There should also be minimal or no rainfall over the weekend.
The registration has been extended to Friday night and it will also be possible to register on spot on race day.
