Event description

Attention: Based on weather forecast, Saturday’s stages in Bike park Ljubljana have been cancelled. This is the revised description.

On Sunday 15 September 2024, Golovec trails club is holding the seventh edition of enduro race in Ljubljana. The competition will take place on Golovec trail (base at Urban Ring hotel), near the city center.

Parking and setting up of team tents will be possible near the venue. The transfers will be on logging trails, purpose-built trails and asphalt roads, while the special stages will be held on purpose-built mountain bike trails in the forest.

The race takes place as part of the Ljubljana MTB vikend festival. You are welcome to participate in other activities. All events in Bike park Ljubljana have been postponed to 28 September. www.ljubljanamtbvikend.si

The course

On Sunday four special stages will be held on Golovec trails.* Total of special stages will be around 4.5 km with a vertical drop of approximately 500 m. So including the training the participants will do some 11 km with 1000 vertical m over two days.

The special stages will be held on a combination of existing and new trails on Golovec trails.

Each special stage will be used once in competition. Special stages are set in the forest, mostly on dirt with some rooted section and some wooden structures. Stages are partly technical and partly fast. There will be detours available on the hardest sections. Transfers are on logging roads, trails, dirt roads and partly also on public roads where traffic code applies.

Start to transfers and the finish will be in front of Urban Ring Ljubljana hotel.

Exact course map will be published by Friday, 13 September. The course will be marked a day before the event. Traffic code applies on transfers on public roads. No shuttling is allowed during training and race.

*Number of special stages will be adjusted for under 15 and e-bike categories.

Parking

Urban Ring Ljubljana

The venue is at Urban Ring Ljubljana hotel. Parking will be possible nearby and will be marked. More parking is available at Rudnik shopping area just across the railway. Venue is also accessible by bikes and number 3 bus line. Safe crossing of Dolenjska cesta street is via traffic light crossing.

Ljubljana and accommodation

The Ljubljana MTB vikend festival is held on three main locations in Ljubljana. All information on the city, including the accommodation, is available at www.visitljubljana.com.

Special price for Enduro Golovec trails participants: 110 € for half board for double room. Campers/vans for 15 €/night.

On Friday before the event (13 September 2024 at 23:59) or until places are filled (250).

Registration system

Entries will be accepted through Prijavim.se system. Entry is complete when it is paid. All information about payment is available during the entry procedure.

Entry fee in pre-registration

40 €
U13/U15 30 €
For Golovec trails members 32 € (U13/U15 let 25 €) with code received in email.

Entry fee in late registration

Only possible upon request and confirmed. From 00:01 on 13 September to 9:00 on 14 September the fee is 50 €, paid in cash on event day.
Registration on site without confirmation will not be possible.

Entry fee payment

Paid in advance via Prijavim.se registration system. Late registration with cas on event day. All online entries without payment are considered as late entries (50 €).

Non-licensed riders

No limitations. Must enter through Prijavim.se system as all other categories. Slovenia Cycling’s daily licence advised, but not obligatory.

Minors

For under-age riders (born after 14 September 2006) the registration must be signed by a parent or guardian.
