What can we say about the final non-competitive event of the season, SloEnduro Day Grisium, which took place past weekend in Grožnjan, that the photos don’t already say?
Just under 120 registered participants and a few more who just dropped in. Sunshine and ideal temperatures. Excellent trails from Šaltarija to Sv. Juraj. On Saturday, timed runs on the Srna trail and a trail for the youngest riders in the Lost Sheep area. An evening get-together watching the World Cup from Mt. Ste. Anne and cheering for Monika one last time. With a self-service of local San Servolo beer… On Sunday, it was time for some more “free” riding. We also explored other hidden trails in the neighborhood with our hosts Manuel and Alen.
We donated part of the entry fees to the fund for continuation of Jošt Ložar’s BMX racing career, and the contractors and partners of SloEnduro also waived their fees for the benefit of the fund. If you wish to find out more about this and maybe contribute
We are ending the season with a really pleasant weekend. See you in November at the closing event of the Mountain Biking and BMX Commission and at the SloEnduro meeting, where we will finalize our plans for 2026. We will also be back for riding in Grožnjan several times over the winter.
