Saturday June 4th:

Courses are marked and free for course inspektion. There is no official practice on Saturday as there are no marshalls and no emergency service on the course.

Sunday June 5th:
7:30 – 11:00 race office open
9:00 – 11:00 free practise

Course description

The course will have 4 stages, 15km and 1000 vertical meter. For transfer you will have to pedal roughly 400hm. The exact line-up of the stages will be available on Friday June 3rd, to ensure fair training for everyone.

Directions

Start and finish will be located at the cablecar station (Schöckl Seilbahn) on Schöcklstr. 23, 8061 Sankt Radegund (bei Graz, translates to Sankt Radegund next to Gradec). Parking and camping will be located right next to the cablecar and will be marked. Bike-wash and showers will be available as well.

There will be conventional accommodation possibilities up as soon as possible

Extra informations

Riders without licence can participate if they purchase a daily insurance with a cost of 10,00eur. Riders who want’s to use this option must send an email to the organiser about this until 30.5.2016.

Only 150 riders will be allowed to participate. There can be pre entered more riders than 150, as every rider confirms his entry with a payment of starting fee. So entries will be closed after organiser receives 150 payments of the starting fee and entries will not be possible after that any more.

Deadline for the payment is Wednesday 1st June 2014 until 14.00

In case of any places left, organiser will accept more entries on the day of the event, but only until 150 riders confirms their entry. Once the number is reached, entries will be closed, even if there will be more riders at the scene.

Event description

SloEnduro 4Fun is coming to Austria for the first time. Eventhough 4Fun events are meant to be easy and short, this one will be a bit different. Race will be held in Schöckl Bike Park area with 4 different stages, mostly accessible with chairlift. Enduro races in Austria are not very common, but with all the riders and exceptional terrains, there is a big potential for this kind of races. So Graz is all in for the big enduro race in next few year, and 4Fun series is a nice way to step in. So expect a real enduro event with great trails,lot’s of racing and even more fun.

For late registration you will have to pay an additional 10€ on raceday

Uplift cost:  Aditional 10,00eur will be charged for the uplift on the raceday. Riders who will purchase a ticket on Saturday, will get a free pass on Sunday!

Categories

Enduro Gradec is open to everyone. There will be licensed categories (Juniors, Elite, Masers 1 & 2) and an open Hobby category. Riders will be divided into categories by there age, as well as their sex. A minimum of 5 riders is required to form a category. Holders of a “Sportklasse”-license or ÖRV Bike Card (can also be obtained on raceday and is useful if you are doing more than one Austrian race, 39,90€) will be listed in the hobby category. Participants have to be at least 16 (Sportklasse) or 17 years (license) of age.

  • ELITE (1997 till 1987 included)
  • MASTERS 1 (1986 till 1977 included)
  • MASTERS 2 (1976 and older)
  • HOBBY (2000 and older)

Riders without license: You can buy the ÖRV Bike Card (39,90€) which is valid till the end of the year 2016.

Uplift

The race will take place in the “Schöckl Trail Area” an uplift accessed bikepark. There will be one uplift transfer. Therefore an uphillticket has to be purchased.

Tickets for the Gondola are 10€ on raceday. (Training before race, Uplift during race).

As a special deal, if you purchase any ticket on Saturday, uplift on Sunday will be for FREE.

Basic rules

-participants under 18years of age, need a consent form of their legal guardian
-the race will take place on marked course including natural and build features
-riders will have to wear full-face helmet AS WELL AS backprotectors/protectorbackpacs, gloves and kneeguards on all timed stages, while on the transfer normal cycling helmet will be allowed.
-proctors will be checked at the start; missing protectors will lead to disqualification
-start will be at the cablecar station, from where riders will take the gondola to the top of Schöckl mountain. Riders roll downhill on a gravel/tarmac road to the start of long stage #1. Pedal transfer, roughly 400 vertical meters uphill to stage #2 into technical stage #3 and to the fun “Gigasport Special Stage” (stage #4). Finish of the last stage is right at the bottom station of the gondola. There will be only very short transfers between stages 2-4.

-Winner will be the rider with shortest overall time on all timed stages
-ever winner in it’s categorie will recieve a trophy
-out of all riders there will be a prize lottery

-bikes will have to be fitted with the official staring number on the handlebar, in technical perfekt condition; no e-bikes will be allowed
-all riders compete exclusively on their own risk. There will be no liability by the organisator between riders and/or thrid parties
‐ After the race, timing chips and race-plates must be returned to timing team. In case of losing the chip, rider will be charged for new one (50Euro).

-the race is an official event of the Austrian Cycling Federation (ÖRV) held according to „Enduro Reglement“. There will be a race officer regulating on race day, who will also be your contact person in case of disqualification.

-there is a maximum number of 150 participants.

-a warm meal is included in the starting fee.

-the organizer withholds the right to modify the track route, length and number of stages in the event of poor weather conditions or other unexpected situations and undertakes to inform competitors about any such changes.
