The last act of SloEnduro series season has started. The organizers from local club held the prologue stage of Enduro Grozni race.

Polish masters 1 category rider Marcin Motyka (Romet Racing Team) set the fastest time in front of Slovenian Nejc Huth (Energijateam.com) in second and Austrian Julian Hauer (RLM Mondraker) in third. Croatian junior Ivan Bašić (BK Stina) surprised with 4th while the series leader, Austrian Gerd Skant (Giant Stattegg) finished 5th.

Two more riders in the mix for the overall win, Vid Peršak (Gaes Orbea Enduro Crew) and Peter Mlinar (Blackthorn) finished in 7th and 10th respectively. Peršak suffered a bad crash into a tree in today’s training while Mlinar in 3,5 seconds down on Motyka. Not much regarding there will be five special stages tomorrow (Sunday).

Italian Giulia Albanese (UC Caprivesi) was the fastest lady on the prologue course.

Riders with good lights had some advantage in the dark conditions on the wet asphalt and cobblestones of Grožnjan streets.

It was raining last night in Grožnjan and the trails have been drying slowly during the day. Some better than others.

Tomorrow the racing starts at 10 and around 4 pm we will know the name of 2016 SloEnduro overall champion.
