Mossa (GO) – March, 26th – Moving the race date in March has cetainly helped the 2nd GO ENDURO, which, despite the terrible weather forecast of the past days, it was possible to take place on completely dry, almost dusty trails, in definitely different situation from the last edition.
Being the first date of the 2017 SloEnduro 4 Fun Series, the race has drawn riders from Italy, Slovenia and Austria at start line . Most of them have appreciated race course, which wound on the slopes of the Mount Calvary and hills near Mossa, and praised the good organization by U.C. Caprivesi that has guaranteed fun in riding timed stages and full security, so there no incident were recorded.
In the end victory went to Stefano Braidot, notable athlete of the UC Caprivesi team, that already from first stages leaded the race batteling with Michele Dreossi (Granzon team) and Francesco Remoto (Fun Bike). His total time was 10 minutes, 28 seconds and 65 hundredths, followed by Dreossi to 10” and Remoto at 13”.
The fastest woman was Yana Dobnig (RML Mondraker) in 12’19”, followed by Ana Zupan (Energija Team) at 49” and Jessica Merlach (MTB 360°) at 1’20”.
About 20 young riders (Under 17 and under 15) took part in the race which, by rule, in their case was reduced to three stages. The winner was Lorenzo Terlicher (Team Granzon), follow by Massimo De Sabbata (Team Granzon) then Giacomo Zof (Team Granzon). In the young women category victory went to Giulia Sandrin (MTB 360°).
