There were quite a few highlights during the 2026 SloEnduro series season. Unfortunately, we ended up with just four races and one non-competitive SloEnduro Day.
Vid Peršak not only secured his tenth national enduro title but also claimed his sixth overall series title. This was despite finishing ‘only’ third in the first race in Nova Gorica against strong international competition, and missing the second race in Ajdovščina. He had already accumulated the most points between 2015 and 2018, as well as in the 2024 season.
Blaž Stres, the winner at Ajdovščina, is second, 40 points behind. Third-placed Maks Struna, who was hot on Peršak’s heels in the last two races, trails by a further 20 points.
Nežka Libnik has claimed the SloEnduro title for the second year running. She has remained unbeaten in domestic races throughout this period. This year she is followed by the Austrian Alexandra Eckert and Maja Vojska.
Blaž Stres is the clear winner in the juniors’ category, ahead of Ian Laharnar and Lenart Sever.
In the U17 male category, Erik Žgavc clinched the overall title with two wins and two second-place finishes, out of a field of 61 riders. There are even more riders in the U15 boys’ standings – 63 in total – with Tjaž Stres at the top.
Once again, there has been an interesting outcome in the club standings. The season’s winners are the members of the Kamplc Racing Team from Ajdovščina, with Golovec Trails from Ljubljana a good 800 points behind, whilst another Ajdovščina club, Črn trn, trails by a further 100 points in third place.
We are still waiting for the date of the Mountain Biking and BMX Commission’s closing ceremony, at which we will present awards to the most successful riders of the season.
