We are two weeks away from the best event of the first two SloEnduro seasons. After great events in first two season the organizers may have been trying too hard last year. The result was a race that was too demanding for many. So this year they decided to take a step back to what has been proven to work while still keeping some special ingredients. Here is it how the Black Hole Enduro 2016 goes…
Starting on streets, finishing on mountain
As always the Black Hole Enduro starts with a Friday night prolog on the stairs in Ravne na Koroškem. And with a party!
Things get serious on Saturday in Trail Park Jamnica. Staring at Koroš “bike ranch” there will be four special stages with some 1100 m of climbing/descending. And that is where the SloEnduro race ends. After the prize giving ceremony we will relax in Dixi’s front yard lawn and pool. It means that the SloEnduro part of the race is over, so the riders can decide what to do from here on. They can call it an end or they can go for even more action.
SloEnduro race over, but not the Black Hole Festival
That does not conclude the enduro weekend. Sunday is the last day of the 9 day Black Hole Bike Fest and enduro is the main attraction of the day.
The final event will take place in the nearby Mežica, right in front of the Mining Museum. There will be two more enduro stages for the riders who can settle for just two days of racing. First a longer stage in the morning and then the top 25 will enter the final stage in the abandoned mines, the Petzen mountain underground.
