Enduro Cerkno, round three of the SloEnduro series season, started with prologue in downtown Cerkno again. Two Austrians will be starting the race on Sunday in best positions – Yana Dobnig (RLM Mondraker Racing Team) in women’s and Kevin Maderegger (Ghost Factory Racing Riot) in men’s race.

It took Kevin a minute and 12 seconds to finish track, a mix of dirt, pave, stairs and asphalt. He was followed by series leader, Slovenian Vid Peršak (Team Dorrong, +1,12) in second and Czech Petr Maly (Maloch Racing Team, +2,62) in third place. Gerd Skant (Team Dorrong), the second overall, finished 5th behind another Slovenian Gregor Ferk (Epic Outdoor Crew) in 4th place.

Yana Dobnig was followed by Giulia Albanese (UC Caprivesi) in 2nd and Ana Zupan (Energijateam.com) in 3rd place.

Five special stages follow on Sunday on the trails in the wider area of Cerkno ski resort. Four of them start from top of the hill at Alpine Pearl restaurant and the riders will need to ride a bit to reach the start of SS3. SS4 has been chosen as the Kenda SuperStage.

First stage starts at 10am and the riders will be back from SS5 by 4pm.
