We are revealing the course of this year’s Enduro Cerkno. This event was voted the best of the 2015 season. The organizers are firmly decided to keep this title so they took notes of many suggestions from the participants and they decided to hold all stages in single day with the prologue the day before.
On Sunday there will be five stages, more or less classic ones. It starts with the extended stage under the Počivalo chairlift that continues from the bottom station to the Lovec restaurant. From there the riders will need to climb all the way back to the top. The second stage will be held on the other side of the lift and will finish by the bottom station. Then back to the top on the chairlift.
Next is the transfer to Tuškov grič, followed by climb to start of stage three. Third stage of the day is the longest and most interesting and was chosen to be the Kenda SuperStage. The fastest rider receives a special prize from the SloEnduro sponsor Kenda. Kenda SuperStage times will be added together all season long and are races within races. Top riders in this ranking will be awarded at the end of the season.
After the Kenda SuperStage the riders will climb back to the chairlift’s bottom station. After returning to the top the first two stages will be repeated as 4th and 5th stage of the day, but the transfer will only be to the bottom station of the chairlift.
