In one month we are opening the 2016 racing season. For a change we are opening it with a “small” race of 4Fun series, which was our desire when we first got the idea about this small race series. In the coming seasons we certainly aim to have this package of small races happening more in off-season when many riders are getting bored.

Race format is very simple. The course will be prepared with three special stages in total lenght of 20km and 550m of altitude gain. First rider will start at 12.00, but before that riders will have time to check the course in the morning.
ATTENTION licences: Since the race is organized in Italy, we can’t avoid some rules by Italian Cycling Federation. Riders without a licence are not allowed to participate. Riders with a Slovenian cycling federation (KZS) membership card or riders with “Cycling for all” or “Hobi” and similar licences are not allowed to participate either.
Riders without a licence can apply for daily licence of FCI (Italian federation). You can apply for the licence through a from in the race propositions. There you can also find the form for medical certificate, which all non-licensed riders will need to bring to the race. Riders without it will not be able to participate.
Since the race is regional there also is a special rule about participation right. Only riders from Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and Austria (Styria and Carinthia) can participate with no limits, while riders from other countries have limited places on the start. Only three riders per category can participate.
Race will be held under Italian rules, so the categories are different as well, but since we make a points scale of 4Fun race only in general clasification, it doesn’t change much. Anyway we want to remember all riders to be careful entering the race to place the same category as stated on your licence.
The race will be a great warm-up before the first No Borders Bike Festival, which will be “built” around the well known Enduro 3 Camini race. Festival will be held from April 8th til 10th on well known location in San Dorligo near Trieste.
