Dear SloEnduro family, right up until Friday evening, even we in the series management were convinced that we would be seeing you in Grožnjan next weekend (3/4 October) for the season finale. The organiser’s cancellation took us by surprise, and we were unable to influence their decision.
Unfortunately, with two cancellations caused by the amendment to the Nature Conservation Act, we are ending the season with just four races.
We’ll see the trophy winners soon at the Slovenia Cycling Mountain Biking Commission’s awards ceremony (date to be confirmed), followed in November by the now-traditional meeting with club representatives and organisers, where we’ll map out the next season.
Entry fees paid for SloEnduro Grozni will be refunded. We hope you’ll also be able to get a refund for any accommodation you’ve paid for; even if not, riding in Grožnjan on the first weekend in October (race or no race) won’t be such a bad outcome.
