Austrian Max Fejer (Team Dorrong) and Croatian Gorana Težak (Adrenalina MTB Team) emerged as winners of 5th edition of Trnduro in Dražice near Rijeka, Croatia, round 4 of 2019 SloEnduro series.
Battle between series leader Fejer and defending champion Vid Peršak (Orbea Enduro Team) of Slovenia, also battle for overall title, was the story of the day. Out of five special stages Fejer won SS1, SS3 and SS5. Peršak won SS2 and then SS4 to take the lead by 5.58 but then snapped his chain on SS5, the last of the day. So Peršak finished second 10.02 behind Fejer.
Another Austrian Peter Mihalkovits (Radwelt MK Factory Racing) finished third 33.58 seconds behind the winner.
Slovenian Tina Perše (Calcit Bike Team) was leading the women’s race until a flat tite on SS5. She finally finished the day in second place 1:26 behind Težak. Romina Marušić (BK Novigrad) was third.
