Welcome into the SloEnduro family, new event and new organizers! This weekend first time in the 4Fun series: the Bike & Beer Fest Enduro, part of Bike & Beer Festival on Črne njive above the town of Ilirska Bistrica in South-East of Slovenia by DGK Borovci crew.
The festival was first held last year while the riders have been working on the local trails for year before that. This year they are adding an enduro race to their festival’s program. It will include three special stages – one less than originally planned since the fourth one is too demanding in wet conditions. Exact course will be published on Friday but we can tell you that the total length will be under 20km with total elevation around 600m. The course is technically not very demanding.
The special stages will be open for training on Saturday from 10am to 4pm and on Sunday from 8am to 10am. The race starts at 11am. Find Bike & Beer Fest Enduro details in propositions and also check out festival website www.bikebeerfest.si.
Because of bad weather forecast the festival program has been downsized, there will be no events held on Friday and Saturday night’s concerts have been cancelled. Shuttles will be running on Saturday from 10am to 5pm, daily passes will be available for 20€. There will be Specialized’s test bike fleet as well as the beer part of the festival. There is no festival registration or fee.
