The first two races have already been held under the new rules, and now the “Rules for National Cups and National Championships in Mountain Biking and BMX 2025″ have been officially approved and published in full.
These are the most important new features for enduro riders.
General part
The rules now clearly state that riders must attend the award presentation in their club racing kits (i.e. not in regular shirts, sweaters, shorts).
This is not written in the rules, but it is also desirable that riders attend the awards in closed shoes (and not flip flops or even barefoot shoes). For the sake of the positive image of the sport, the Public Relations Department of the Slovenia Cycling strongly recommends following the guidelines from the biggest competitions, where open footwear is forbidden at the award ceremony, as well as the wearing of sunglasses in such a way that they cover the eyes.
Enduro
The 4Fun category is now divided into two categories, a women’s category and a men’s category.
Depending on the difficulty of the course, the technical delegate may decide that the U17 women compete on the U15 course, and the masters 3 competitors on the U17 course. In this case entry fees for these categories remain unchanged.
