In tenth SloEnduro season it is now also time for tenth edition of Slovenian National Championships in the discipline of enduro. The SloEnduro Kope, also round six of the series (the one before last) will be hosted by MTB Koroška on the trails of Bike park Kope.
So far Kope hosted two enduro events in years 2019 and 2020, these were both SloEnduro 4Fun series events. Now they will be holding their first »big league« race and it will even be the race for the National titles.
Of course the National Championships will be a two day event with training held on Saturday and the race on Sunday. The riders on the long course will race on four special stages with total elevation gain and drop of approximately 1030 vertical meters. There will be two special stages on the short course (360 v.m.) and one stage on the U13 course (max 180 v.m.).
Where and when
The venue with race office will be set at Grmovškov dom.
On Saturday the training starts at noon while on Sunday the first rider takes off from the start at 11 am.
Going for both titles and points
Before leaving for North American rounds of EWS the four time National Champion and also defending champion Vid Peršak is also planning to take part in the race.
But Vid can hardly make it to the top of the series ranking. David Ivartnik is on top of men’s standings, the defending series champion Miha Smrdel is now in second after missing SloEnduro Cilenca and Cilenca winner Jan Štucin is in third. Fourth placed Jan Markič is very close to top three.
