The classic SloEnduro event in Northwest of Istria peninsula, Croatia, will open the series for the second time in history. The first time was in 2017 while this race served as the series final no less than 6 times.
2022 will be the 10th season of SloEnduro series.
For this year the organizers were able to choose between two event formats: a single day event with both training and race on Sunday and only track walk on Saturday, or a two day event with training on Saturday and race on Sunday.
The Grožnjan Mountain Bike Club (BBK Grožnjan), hosts of SloEnduro Grozni, decided to go with the two day event. For this weekend (April 9/10) they are preparing five special stages, three of these will be used as the short course. But don’t worry, one of the stages will be very short. The total elevation gain and drop will be around 1200 meters for the long course and 650 meters for the short course.

The registration looks promising. It remains open until Thursday night. At the time of posting of this preview there are around 90 riders registered from 6 countries.
The course will be published on Friday.
Attention! Because of Istria 100 run we are moving the venue (race office, start/finish) from town square to sports court just above the town.
The rule book
We’ve shaken and stirred the rules a little bit, namely the mentioned event formats as well as the categories. The popular 4Fun events are now included in all the events as category. By all means go and see the rules before putting on the number plate!
See you in Grožnjan!
