It’s time you plan your next year’s racing season. Here is the calendar of seventh season of SloEnduro with one new “big league” stop and four new 4Fun events.

In 2019 there will be enough opportunities for mountain bike enduro racing in Slovenia and in the region for the serious racers and fun riders alike.

SloEnduro

After this year’s five events the “big league” return to six stops in 2019 which has been the standard since 2015 when we introduced the 4Fun series. Like this year, we will kick off the season with Kamplc Enduro in Ajdovščina, the best event of 2018. We’ll have to wait until June for the next round when this year’s very well accepted Merjasec Enduro in Ruše will double as Slovenian National Championships. Two weeks later the Black Hole Enduro returns into the series after hosting an EWS race in 2018. It will also be part of EWS Continental series. After the summer break, we’ll meet at Enduro Krvavec where we’re sure we’ll find some new trails again. In September, we will welcome the new event in the series, Trnduro not far from Rijeka, Croatia which debuted in 4Fun this year. The final will be Croatian as well with classic Enduro Grozni in Grožnjan.

4Fun

No less than nine times between San Pietro al Natisone, Ilirska Bistrica and Kope! We are starting in Italy, first on the fun trails in Gorizia already in March, then in April by the “three chimneys” above Trieste. Then three times in May: at Krokar in Dobrna, for the first time above Ilirska Bistrica during their Bike Beer Festival and finally at second Poseka FunEnduro in Ravne na Koroškem. In July, we are looking forward to two new venues: the first one is locally well known Krivapete Enduro in San Leonardo, Italy, the second one is in the blooming Bike Park Kope. Last two chances to put on a 4Fun number plate in 2019 will be in September: for the first time in Kočevje MTB Trail Center and then for the second Golovec Trails in Ljubljana’s namesake trail park.

What’s New

All SloEnduro series events will include a shorter race for Under 15 category which will commonly include two special stages. 4Fun events can also include this category.

All SloEnduro events will have Masters 3 male category for riders of 50 years and older. There will also be the overall ranking for this category.

All organizers (SloEnduro and 4Fun) can include the e-bike category.

Time for late registration and number plate pick-up will be included in event propositions and will be strictly enforced. The start order at SloEnduro series events will be reversed with top seeded riders starting as last. This order is also advised for 4Fun events.

No shuttling is allowed on SloEnduro training day (Saturday). Details on eventual transportation possibilities will be published in propositions of each event.

SloEnduro series events length remains between 1000 and 1200 elevation meters of climbing. 4Fun events are between 600 and 800m.
