Bike park Kope hosted the first SloEnduro event on Slovenian soil in 2020 and the second one after Matadown. 90 riders from Slovenian and Austria attanded the 4Fun series race in dry conditions.

All riders aged 15 or more did two timed runs on each of the two permanent tracks, Borovničke (Blueberries) and Flow, while the eleven U15 riders did one time run on each.

The “long” course was dominated by Austrian Peter Mihalkovits, the 2019 SloEnduro number 3. After winning all four special stages his total race time was 9 minutes an 29.77 seconds. The reigning Slovenian enduro champ Jan Markič (Avče) was second 9.73 behind, also second fastest in all stages. It was more complicated for third overall, taken by Žan Teskač (Supersnurf) with one 3rd, two 4th and one 5th time on stages, he finished 14.35 down on the winner.

The 2019 SloEnduro champion Tina Perše (Calcit bike team) was the fastest woman in front of Ula Kos and Eva Palka.

Enej Podlipnik (Rajd) was the fastest U19 rider and Austrian Hannes Petek (RC KAC) won the U17 category.

In age classes Markič won in 19-24, Mihalkovits in 25-29, Luka Hribar in 25-29, Peter Pingitzer (MK Factory) in 30-34, Miha Letnar in 35-39, Miha Deu in 40-44, Janko Viher in 45-49 and Uroš Ogris (MTB klub Kranj) in 50+.

On the “half course” Lovro Kojzek won by 5 seconds from Nal Raško (Rajd) in second and 7 from Mark Pečnik in third.

There is only one 4Fun series event left in the calendar, it’s the Golovec trails on September 20 in Ljubljana. But before that we hope to see you all at the first “big league” race of 2020 and Slovenian National Championships, the Enduro Kočevje in MTB trail center Kočevje on September 13!
