Event will be held on the 9th and 10th April 2016 as an national event and is named 5^ ENDURO 3 CAMINI, class ENDURO NAZIONALE (ED ), speciality ENDURO, lenghth 45.00km, reserved for FCI categories – UCI (competitive) (Amateur and Public Sports Promotion)

Saturday:  Free practice and Prologue

Sunday:  6 special stages with a total distance of 45km and a total vertical drop of 1.750 meters.

Youth categories U17 – U15 will be racing only on Sunday on a 16 km with 650 meters of vertical drop with only 3 special stages.

Event description

The Enduro is a specialty that combines the technical and physical skills of downhill and cross country.

The course of an Enduro race should be mainly dirt and can present narrow and exposed sections, rocks, fords, steep ascents and descents.

In Enduro races, the competitors must respect the rules of the event and the road traffic regulations, particularly for section not closed to traffic .

Special Stages will be closed to traffic during the actual race but not during practice.

In Enduro races, each competitor must be, during the race, completely self-sufficient by providing even if repairs and / or replacements of their vehicle components.

Each competitor must not have outside assistance for the duration of the race, with the exception of the paddock where the racers are at the beginning and end of each lap and where each team can arrange for assistance to its competitors

In case of accidents it is each rider’s responsibility to help other rider in need or in trouble and possibly call for assistance.

The organizers reserves the right to penalize participants that do not observe such rule who may as well run into potential criminal consequences for negligence.

Riders who withdraw from the race must inform the Race Direction and Judges.

Riders who withdraw the race or have exceeded the maximum time limit must reach the departure zone as quickly as possible and follow indications given them by the race officials, as well as remove the number plate from their bicycle or cross the number out with an X.

In order to give rescuers a chance to reach injured racers the Special Stage may be suspended and racers will not be timed, or the course may be diverted and marked by the organizers in order to reach the next Special Stage.

The race is part of the national calendar in compliance with UCI/FCI rules and it will  assign points TOP CLASS NAZ X 2.

The race will take place on the path shown in the following documents attached:

  • elevation map;
  • Plan;
  • Written communication of the dislocation of the hospitals or primary health centers closer;
  • Plan arrival area indicating jury headquarters, doping control, secretary, press room, organization direction, showers and bike washing;
  • Internet connection.

 


kendasuperstage

There will be a Kenda SuperStage organised during the race. One stage will be choosen as a SuperStage and best rider on that stage or more of them will be rewarded at the end of the race.

Kenda SuperStage will be organised on all SloEnduro races in this season and riders times will be calculated after every race. At the end of the season, rider with the best time after six Kenda stages will be the Kenda winner of the season.

Informations update!

1) For reasons related to permissions (inside the park of Val Rosandra in Italy and the Natura 2000 site in Slovenia), we had to change first planned course, and so the race will take place on  5 stages with a length of 40 km and 1500 meters elevation. Categories U17 and U15 who do shortened course, compete on special stages 4 and 5.

2) UCI/FCI rules 2016:  National, regional,  club and teams and their respective riders may not start in competitions abroad unless they hold authorisation in writing issued by their federation. This authorisation must carry the dates of validity and the name(s) of the rider(s) concerned.

Registrations | Categories

Attention: Riders without licence can only participate if they order a daily licence of 15.00eur/day. Total cost of daily licence is 30.00eur.  Rider without licence must also have a medical exam signed by sport doctor. Athletes in possession of their federation UCI licence, will be able to participate in each category of the event, divided into the following categories:

CAUTION!!! We will not accept the registration of athletes without competitive licence ( cycling for all or Hobby sport for example, is not accepted).

NO LICENCE (adults only): € 70.00 + FCI  daily licence (With presentation of the agonistic medical examination) In addition to competitive medical examination, the unlicensed must submit the SPORT MEDICAL CERTIFICATE written statement to the doctor who made the competitive medical examination

. No license must also complete and sign the ETHIC STATEMENT. Failure or incomplete presentation of these documents precludes the participation in the competition.

Registrations are accepted up to the maximum number of 300 participants.

In case of cancellation of registered athletes, the inscriptions are reopened if the organization deems it necessary.

The organizer agrees to promptly notify the non-acceptance of enrollment. The formula of silent consent will be considered valid.

Basic rules

Starting list

The first 100 numbers will be allocated according to the Italian Ranking Top Class and the National Ranking SloEnduro. Those following will be consecutive and the allocation will be based on the order of registration. The start date is based on the number assigned. The organization will deliver to each competitor a personal time table on which are marked with journey times to be respected. It is the responsibility of the competitor to check for any errors of their departure time including the time table

Equipment:

Mandatory during the PS, the use of the helmet fastened, specifically for practicing the ENDURO DH and 4X. The helmet must be equipped with visor / peak. And ‘it is forbidden the use of helmet that allows the exposed chin. And ‘it allowed the use of lighter helmet sort XCO during transfers. They are also mandatory protection for the knees, back, regularly marketed products for the specific use, gloves with long fingers and shirt with long or short sleeves worn over the caps (except for neck support) .If the guards use ” neck support “(collar) can not be used on back protector (para back).

The FCI also strongly recommends the use of the following protections:

protection of the shoulders of rigid material

neck protection, neck and elbows

long pants, wide and made of unbreakable durable material, or shorts, wide and made of unbreakable durable material accompanied by protection for the shins of a rigid material;

Any fitting suit (aerodynamic) in elastic fiber on the body is not authorized.

It is suggested you bring your mobile phone with you in order to be contacted or to contact the organizers yourself during the race in case of need. During the briefing, the organizers will announce the phone number to contact in case of an emergency. The phone number will also be printed on the timetable every participant will have applied onto the bicycle.

Bike

It is forbidden to replace the frame, fork, wheels, during the whole entire competition. The organization will provide during license checks to each competitor labels stickers, for the frame, the front fork and the wheels of the bike and it is up to each competitor to apply them to their bike. During the race the organization will check marks (punching) and the competitor will not have all the marks correctly positioned or not present at verification, will be disqualified.

The timing service will be made by the SPORTident Slovenia

Antidoping control

The anti-doping control will be carried out in accordance with the regulations of UCI , the FCI  and the Ministry of Health and will take place at Centro Visite Valrosandra Bagnoli della Rosandra 507 San Dorligo della Valle – Dolina

Classification – Complaints

All riders crossing the finish line after the winner are considered having finished the race and they will be classified as their position on that moment.

The riders who will not finish the race must leave immediately the race course and they are forbidden to cross the finish line; on the final standing they will be marked with DNF (Did Not Finish) and they will not be given any point for the race.

it is possible to submit a written complaint against the facts of the competition within 30 ‘minutes from the publication of the standings with a payment of € 50.00 as a  guarantee

Results will be communicated on Excel Format to  FCI, in accordance with their existing regulations.

Award ceremony

The award ceremony will be held after the end of  race.

Medical support

Medical support is provided by 1 medic and 2 Ambulances.

The closest Hospital with A&E department is located in Ospedale di Cattinara

Authorization for micro camera usage

The Organizer, for broadcasting purposes, is allowed to select an available rider and let him wear a micro camera during the race. The name of the chosen rider will be communicated to the Commissaire Panel’s President, raising him from any responsibility. 

Responsibility

No liability of any kind for damage to persons or property resulting from accidents or offenses committed by participants in the events, can in no way lead to head the organization and those who collaborate with the same. Although not covered in this regulation the Commissaire Panel will apply the UCI and FCI regulation in compliance with  the Law of the Italian State.
